You should definitely tie a very thick knot at the end of the string, as the string otherwise constantly gets wrapped around the device. Due to the very fast movements, the cats are more likely to stay in the cover rather than follow the part. It's just too hectic on the move. A little slower would definitely be more interesting.

Great item for cats with its USB charging feature. However, the toy doesn't work for long, less than 5 minutes.
