While the upper part is quite substantial, the base is very thin polyester fabric and the removable cushion is quite lumpy because there's not much filling in it, so it feels a bit flimsy. other than that it's pretty much as you would expect from the pictures. more importantly, the cat is scared of it, so it's back to the old drawing board again.
